The Masterplan and Zoning Plan for the Bega river is one of the hoghlight projects of Timisoara. It reconnected the city with its main waterwaay on a lenght of 8 km via a green-blue corridor used for outdoor activity, recreeation and alternative mobility. The channel was originally built in the 19th century as a waterway and connects the city to the main waterways of Europe. Redefining its urban role as a connector between all the three historic neighborhoods and the main urban development areas was the main scope of this project.
