The village of Wolfsberg is one of the oldest settlements in this altitude (900m) on the former Borderlands of the Austrian empire. Until recently it was inhabited by Swabian population, the grand- grandchildren of the founding settlers. Today it is protected for its architectural value and a major touristic center of the region. We designed this hostel such that it fully integrates into the local context, without giving away its identity.
